This incredibly historic route will take You from Hampstead Heath Station through the areas most beautiful streets, mews and pubs, across the famous Heath and into Highgate following down to either Archway or Upper Holloway Stations.
Keep an eye out for the many blue plaque properties and goldfinger's house as you go up the hill to highgate look across london you should be able to see the shard the london eye crystal palace and everything in-between this really is a stunning route.
The history surrounding many the hampstead pubs is second to none so be sure to take it all in and question the bar keepers a few are also rumoured to be haunted!
When crossing the heath you will pass the "model boating lake" and the "Gentlemans Bathing Lake" where people still today swim so you may see some interesting sights.... might be best not to go too late at night though as the area is a renowned gay meeting spot.
